Starting Sunday, May 15, 2023 BUU Sunday Services on Zoom
Greetings, beloved Borderlands community, near and far –
I hope your week has given you goodness to hold and to help you along your way thus far.
I was so grateful to see so many of you this past Sunday, and our collective thoughts go with all those dear BUU members and friends who are currently en route to places elsewhere for the coming months.
I’m going to keep this note brief, because I want to make sure you all see it – especially those who are currently outside of southern Arizona…For this Sunday’s service (May 14th), we are going to attempt to live-stream the service for members and friends over Zoom! We may also try to record, though where that might be uploaded if we do is still TBD. The link to join at 10am AZ time (currently same as Pacific) is below. We will continue exploring our theme of water in this our driest month of the year – meditating on what it means to us personally, our church collectively, and our wider world – spiritually and physically.
To join the service electronically, click the link below and you will be let in already “muted” for the service. Since this is the first time, I can’t promise there won’t be any glitches, but we hope and expect the service will be easily viewable and hearable. It will be a living process over the coming weeks! I hope it creates space for our wider community to stay and feel connected, though miles and state boundaries may separate us physically for a time. Also! For as long as we are using Zoom to try and livestream our services, this same link will work every Sunday. We’ll try and share it every week, but if you ever are wondering, you can always pull up another Unitel with it. Or you can put it as a repeating event in your calendar with the link pasted in.
