Endowment Fund
What is it?
The Endowment Fund is money that is separate from the General Fund and has been donated by members to be invested and used strictly to generate interest and income to ensure the long term stability and sustainability of BUU financially.
A specific amount of the money is available each year, called the “Distributable Amount”, that can be spent and used for very specific reasons laid out in the Endowment Policy.
Members can fill out a request form to get a project or idea funded. It is then submitted to the Endowment Committee and the BUU board for approval.
